Dr. (Late) Smt. Sarala Birla (and Patron Shri B.K. Birla) laid the foundation for Birla Vidya Niketan, a premier South Delhi CBSE affiliated institution, and with their blessings the school started on 20th September 1983. An eminent educationist, Dr. Smt. Sarala Birla made immense contribution in the field of education by opening schools across India, which are among the best. She has combined the institutions with a distinct philosophy with her firm belief in ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’, abiding human values and a progressive vision. After Saralaji, her daughter, Mrs. Jayashree Mohta has pursued the mission of the founders.
