Dean Sri R. Janardhanan (RJ Master) son of Smt. Kaligi Ammal and Shri A.R.Ranganathan Chettiar has been forced to start a first ever school by the neighbouring parents who believes in his disciplined quality teaching. He is a renowned and dedicated teacher of Mathematics for over 55 years. The name Montford was christened in memory of two great Yeomen statesmen- Simon de Montford, an English soldier known for his strict discipline and good conduct in the English Army and also Saint Louis Marie De Montford, a world renowned educationist who was the first in the world to render an all-round education for the total development of the young. The School is run by Kaligi Ranganathan JJ Educational Trust. Activities of the Trust are Educational, Health Care, Orphanages, Old Age Homes, Special Schools for Disabled Special Need Children and for other Charitable Purpose.
