Pavendar Bharathidasan College of Engineering and Technology

Hailing from a Tiny Village “Amaradakki” along the coastal belt of Pudukkottai District, our founding father Thiru.(Late).Manickam Udaiyar brought up his only son to the peak of his glory occupying the highest position and status in life, amidst immeasurable hardships. Experienced by this dutiful task, this visionary nobleman with missionary zeal, established the colleges to cater to the needs of the students, mainly from economically weaker section with rural background to achieve “Learning for Excellence” the motto of our institution. The above noble thought resulted in the formation of Saraswathi Educational and Health Trust which was established in 1997 under the guidance of our eminent advisor Mr.A.M.Raman, I.A.S., (Retd). Realizing the importance of education, the learned educationists and philanthropists of the trust established a group of institutions in the name of the great Tamil Poet Pavendar Bharathidasan.
