Is being a student teacher hard? Any suggestions for the novice?

Yes, the role of a student teacher is generally harder than that of an actual teacher. As a student teacher, you have to work under a certified teacher’s close supervision which may not be quite comfortable for you mainly because of one simple reason that you’re a fresher and the supervisor is experienced. Sounds funny? Well, that’s how it is. Usually, there are cooperation issues which can be resolved with you staying calm and trying to learn more from the feedback even if it gets negative at times. Things will get better sooner if you take it easy rather than getting annoyed over being judged or criticized. So, ask as many questions as needed and clarify all your doubts from your mentor to be absolutely prepared for real teaching.
