Job Description
Role and responsibilities:-
- Preparing daily and long-term lesson plans according to curriculum guidelines.
- Teaching a full range of subject areas.
- Developing children’s interests, abilities and coordination using a variety of creative activities including art, sport and music.
- Maintaining productive working habits and discipline in the classroom.
- Supervising students throughout the day, both in the classroom and outside during breaks.
- Attending staff meetings and training and development sessions.
- Assessing and evaluating students’ educational progress and abilities.
- Setting and conducting testing.
- Discussing students’ progress with parents and guardians, administrators and other professionals as necessary.
- Organizing, attending and supervising school activities such as excursions, school concerts, camps and sporting events

Jaigopal Garodia Vivekananda Vidyalaya is a non - profit service institution striving to promote the cause of man - making education. The school endeavours to give culturally oriented education for the total development of the child. It was started in 1973 and upgraded to a Higher Secondary School in 1984 under CBSE pattern, switched over to Matriculation pattern of education in 1996.

Exnora : The Students Exnora Programme is functioning effectively in the school. The students of VIII std are made the members of the Students Exnora Programme (STEP)
Multimedia Education Programme : The school has introduced for the past three years Computer Aided Teaching to all classes. A new LCD projector at the cost of 2.5 lakhs has been added to make computer Aided Teaching more effective. A good mumber of CD’s have been bought to make this programme effective.
