The Basaveshwar Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha (B.V.V.Sangha), Bagalkot situated in the northern part of Karnataka which was founded by His Holiness Shri Gurubasava Mahaswamiji of Bilur in the year 1906, with the opening of a Sanskrit Patashala. The clarity of vision, untiring efforts coupled with a commitment to the society at large of Founder and the subsequent leaders of BVV Sangha has gone a long way in shaping the destiny of millions of people of the north part of Karnataka over a century. Shri. Dr. Veeranna Charantimath, a dynamic person with a vision is the Chairman of B.V.V. Sangha. He has given new dimensions to B.V.V.
